Partially it is.
Yet partially it isn't.

One one hand... Human beings actually do and think everything with at least some logic or reasoning, whether they know it or not. Sometimes it's just so complicated it doesn't seem like it. That's how the human mind is built.
On the other hand... Well, as a Christian, I'll make it a point to say that parts of us such as love and kindness are implanted in us by God whose wishes are for them to be our most prevalent qualities. Because they are what make the world ultimately good. And although He designed us in such a way where we are really just like very, very complex machines, where our mind fits everything together with reasoning and logic... it's kind of, as funny as this may sound... just an excuse. God's goal was to create beings with physical bodies whose souls behave how He wants them to. But to do that, he has to design the physical bodies (the brain being a part of the physical) in such a way where they would, in accordance with the rules of the Universe which He created, have behavior which goes hand-in-hand with the behavior of their souls.
So we do everything with logic and reasoning developed by the brain behind it but... at the same time... that's just an excuse. Our souls are how they are because that's how they should be. Logic and reason isn't the real priority.
And I probably lost you. So how is this connected with love specifically? Because that's one of the qualities which God values most. And would have made up all of us had it not been for the corruption of Satan.

This answer is going to be such a derp for those of you who aren't Christians. My apologies. But this is my view on the matter.

I know that so well...

Being in love throws off my sense of logic. So much. If you know me well, you know that I'm extremely logical.
