Oh, please.
Actually, no, it's quite the opposite.
When you think about it, you're just one out of... what, 7 billion people on this planet and you're just a tiny, oh-so-insignificant fragment. You barely do anything to affect this planet as a whole.
BUT...
When you think about it even further, you'll realize that that's not actually true! You see, in fact, everybody's existence, as silently creeping as it may be, creates a huge impact on the planet.
Let me tell you a little story. Actually, just a few tidbits. I'm not going to say how but...
7 or 8 years ago my whole life as well as my mother and father's whole lives were changed by an Internet ad.
A couple of years ago my whole life was, though not quite as significantly, still drastically changed by an online game.
A few months ago my whole life was changed by a recommendation to go to a little website called 'fanpop.com.' (I have yet to have gotten all of the impact that this will have on my life.)
And a few decades ago... my whole life was destined to be given existence by an error in the workings of the elevator on behalf of my father. ._.
Also note that the more recent one also only happened in the first place thanks to the one before it. If it hadn't been for the thing with my father's error, there wouldn't have been the thing with the Internet ad and then there wouldn't have been the thing with the online game and then there wouldn't have been the thing with the recommendation. I know all that almost certainly.
These are only a few of many, many of such life-changing tiny, little things. Think about that... the things that I listed above were merely tiny, tiny aspects of life. Or at least... they were supposed to be. Because such tiny things were, as I already stated, life-changing. In fact, these tiny details are changing lives all the time. And as you know, events cause greater and greater impacts overtime. A small pebble dropped into the water causes ripples which start out small but eventually overtake the entire pool. I know for a fact that our entire world would be completely and absolutely different by now had it not been for a tiny detail like that which happened a couple of centuries ago. In fact, perhaps even just a couple of decades ago.
Now... Question...
If such tiny details in the regular day make such drastic differences... What kinds of differences do entire people make??
Not to brag but I also know for a fact that as of now, at 13 years of age, I saved the life of at least one other person. And that was directly. In fact, I also probably saved/will save many more lives within my lifetime... and unfortunately I may inadvertently lead to the losses of some as well.
And... I'm not saying that I'm particularly special. Everyone is like that.
Apparently, Facepop has now installed a limit to how long an answer can be and I've reached the limit. -__- So I hope you got my point by now.

barrowing sherrlin kenyon's example
if trash men stopped picking up your trash the sreets would be filled with it and the streets and it would be filthy. same for janitors. if secritarys didnt exist then people wouldnt get important calls maybe one could save a life. most people decide to do something with their lives because of insignificant people or decisions. nothing's insignificant 88-Melonlord not even you

Insignificant? Actually, the exact opposite. I mean what if a certain person was to take over the world? That would make that very person significant. The people who choose to fight to help that so called person could be very significant. The future of Midgard is in their hands.

Oh, that reminds me of a joke which was about a similar effect in Dragon Ball Z... "How many Dragon Ball Z characters does it take to screw in a lightbulb? Only 1... but it'll take about 6 episodes."
