To anybody that uses Steam or Plays Valve games, I really would appreciate some help.

For some reason, none of the games I have in Steam will start up completely. With most of them, all that happens is the Valve opening will play (For those who don't know, this: link) and then nothing. It just closes. It's also not in full screen like it should be. The only game this doesn't happen with Is Portal 2, and that just gives me an error message. If anybody has any suggestions to solving this problem, I would be quite thankful.

There could be several reasons for those problems. First, update your Steam. Once you have done that, you need to into your 'Library' and right-click on each of your games. When you right-click, you'll get a list of things you can do. Choose 'properties', then go to the top headings and select 'local files', then click on 'verify integrity of game caches'. You must make sure all game files are completely updated, otherwise, if you verify and there are more updates, you'll have to update, then validated the game caches all over again. Hope this helps you out. XD

You aren't really updating Steam, you just update each of your games. It should do that automatically, otherwise, you'll have to right-click on each game and find 'update' and then do it.
