How would you react if your parents said "I love to watch you (fill in sport, hobby, whatever)?

A friend posted a mommy blog in which the parent "discovered" that simply "validating" the child's process (in this case, swim lessons) was better than praising the result.

I tried this on my kids and they wanted to throw up. Your take?

So as you see, with most of US, it's just crazy. But you may also want to take in mind that most Fanpoppers are not normal people and so probably have unusual hobbies sooo...

Actually, that's not so strange. People watch me draw all the time so I only ever draw when I'm alone. Running isn't much different, either.
