Why did I cry/felt sad when this happend?

My best friend and I are very close. I am straight and she is bi. Today she messaged that she is going out with one of my friends.(a girl)
When I read this, I felt my heart break then I began to cry. Why did I feel like this and why did I cry? I never had romantic feelings for her.

I can't say why you did such a thing. Perhaps it's because you really do care for your best friend so much you like her more than just a friend? Or maybe you're frightened of her being hurt by your other friend.

I'm not sure. You'll have to reflect on this question for some time before you understand why you did such a thing.

^Perhaps you feel as if your best friend will spend more time with your other friend instead of you. I think you're afraid of being abandoned.
