I need help...please?

Me and my friends have a singing group. We're really good and we want to enter in my school talent show, but I have terrible stage fright. When I get up in front of people to sing, I forget the lyrics to songs! I need help because I want to know what is the best way to calm myself before the talent show. Please?

Just take deep breaths and remind yourself you can do it. Try not to think about the people watching, think about the emotion you put into the song :)

Have you ever been on stage performing or something like that?
If you haven't, let me tell you something, it's not frightening at all, because the light won't let you see the people, so it's like you and your friend are there alone and that's a plus if you're afraid/nervous to go on stage.
Another thing you could do is:
-Imagine you're in your room or some other place where you feel calm.
-When you enter on stage never look at the audience and when you start singing, start with your eyes closed and, slowly, start opening them.
-Sing turned to one your friends (e.g: If you're 4, you sing turned to friend 1 and friends 2 and 3 sing turned one to another)
-If you can, ask the guy who's responsible for the lights to turn off the lights for the audience or something like that.

Oh my goodness. I remember when I used to have stage fright. Well here's what I can tell you.
I suggest you bring the lyrics up on stage with you. Then don't look at the people out there in the crowd and just read the words.
If you can't do that picture everyone in their underware. That's the best I can tell u.
Good luck with the talent show.

The important thing is to have fun. If you enjoy that song and mentally at that moment live that song...it won't be like you're performing it. People will see it as real because you enjoy it. Same goes with anything!
