I have read the books and this is just my opinion, But for me Vincent Perez played him to a point where you could actually believe in him, Yes "Marius" is a fantasy, an immortal but Vincent showed him for the "Mortal" that he was as well. Also... and i doubt im the only woman that thinks this..., But if a vampire came looking for you and looked and sounded like Marius? i dont know about anyone else but for me? And also people who had only seen the movies would wonder where he was after seeing Interview. I love Lestat though, he's a brilliantly created character, and Stuart is perfect playing him.
