Queen of the Damned Question

Is there any way to contact the directors of the movie,or anyone incharged for that filming and those stuff,so we can ask them if there's gonna be a sequel or something like that?I'm dying to see Stuart Townsend in that role again,as Lestat!

They were in hurry to make this film because their rights to make it were about to expire. Not that they'd have ever cared about the books anyway - having read the original script it was NEVER anything like the books. If they cared about the books at all they would've at least treid regardless of limited time to use. But they didn't. So even IF these people were the ones that might make anothe film about the Chronicles I would pray they didn't. Because as lampood - they don't care about the books.

I don't think there's a way to directly contact the people. And it would do no good because the people no longer have thr rights to make a film about The Vampire Chronicles.

HOWEVER; When I asked Anne Rice - by e-mail - about this film, she told me "We may soon have a high quality movie about Lestat. When I know more I will announce it on my web site." Later I asked and she said the film will probably focus on the content of The Vampire Lestat book. Keep an eye on her website and you will know when the new - according to Anne Rice - a high quality movie about Lestat will come. Then, if not yet, you'll believe me.

Townsend should get his second chance. Especially when Cruise too was offered the part again even though he too had played a very different version of the character before. Townsend's situation wouldn't be any different. And he might even still pass believably in looks too. I mean, Cruise could've never pulled off a 20-year old in 2002 wwhen this film was made when he didn't look even nearly that young in 1994 either. But Townsend was such a babyface in 2002 so he might be still looking young enough.

In short:
1.) I don't think there's a way to contact the makers of this film directly.
2.) Even if there was it wouldn't help because they don't hold the rights anymore.
3.) According to Anne Rice we may soon have a high quality movie about Lestat that will probably focus on the book The Vampire Lestat.
4.) When she knows more about it she will announce it on her official web site link
5.) Stuart Townsend deserves his second chance. In my opinion he is THE Lestat: link
