I don't think they are anything like Pokémon. Unless, someone can tell me how spinning tops, Digital monsters, and another dimension is Pokémon related.

Yeah,U r right abt the spinning tops & another dimension,bt to some extent i thought they took some inspiration frm Pkmn, like spinning tops contains beasts and bakugan also contains powerful beasts which can b compared to some powerful Pokemons!
And also the bond betn the master and the partner, like Dan-Drago,Tyson-Dragoon etc. seemed the ASH-PIKACHU thing :/
well,thats all,sorry :P for da long post

Bakugan is more of a copy of Yu-Gi-Oh and Beyblade. Beyblade is NOTHING like pokemon, I don't like beyblade and I won't defend it but their is NO similarity. And Digimon....Arguably you could say that, but if digimon did copy pokemon, I have one thing to say.... They did it better! For the first few sesons anyway, and Digimon isn't THAT similar to pokemon...I prefer to think that pokemon inspired digimon.

Except for Digimon. they're digital, not natural unlike pokemon(in the anime world).
Yu-Gi-Oh is sorta different but still
But Beyblade?, yep definitely.
Bakugan: copy all of the things listed above then ta-daah! you have made your own bakugan.
