Why kids don't like Pokemon and kids only likes repeats like first person shooters?

Seriously, why kids don't play Pokemon like Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire and only plays repeats like Mario? That's all kids does these days. Nothing but repeats like CGI and technologies like computers. Why kids like boys hates Pokemon like Pokemon X and Y? Pokemon is suppose to appeal kids. But no, kids avoid Pokemon because Pokemon is really popular appearance only appeal Japan even with a worldwide broad appeal. Why can't America like kids like Pokemon like Kalos? I want my Pokemon is really popular in America appearance back. I'm sick of Pokemon is popular appearance only have Japan.
