I didn't grew out of them though, I still play Gold and Emerald to death, but the Pokémon designs are getting too ridiculous for me to take it seriously.
Well, my favourite type is dragon and it bothers me a little too. But think about it. You can blow out a whole dragon-type team with just one fairy type pokemon!
Oh yeah I definitely am excited X and Y look really fun,the new forms look really cool but I would be a little more excited if I had a DSi to play it on..or if it was playable on a Regular DS..
I've got high hopes for these games. I wasn't a big fan of the unova ones, but I loved Sinnoh, so I hope that was just a one time thing. Although I just wish they'd hurry up and reveal the complete new list of pokemon. I need to find out what pokemon my team will consist of. I'm gonna have Fennekin and Sylveon for sure, but I dont know about the rest yet. I also really hope they don't make Fennekin into ANOTHER fire/fighting type.
I can't WAIT AND WHAT I'M REALLY EXCITED ABOUT THE GAMES IS THAT THE SYLVEON EEVEELUTION I can't wait to catch that because i'm a huge fan of eeveelutions!!!

Omg, I am freaking excited. My birthday is October 14 and the game comes out on October 12!! Thing is that I don't have a 3DS... And my parents say I'm too old for Pokemon... So I might have a wait a few years to save up 200 bucks ;_____;

Tell them you want a 3DS for a different reason then. Not that you can ever be too old for pokemon though.
I can't wait especially to be Mega Digivolving Pokemon...Oh I mean Mega Evolving XD. Originally I did not want a 3DS but after I heard of X & Y ...you know the rest.
