Pokémon Question

Why some pokemon gain Exp points easier?

My brother and I traded pokemon that envolve only with link trades. He traded me a Feebas lvl 58, and I traded him a... well, I don't remember. Feebas envolved into Milotic and the Pokemon I traded envolved into. . . somrthing. I gave my Milotic an Exp share and it started gaining exp points really fast, while my brother's pokemon was gaining them really slow. Before I knew it, my Milotic was at lvl 100! If someone can answer this, I'll be gratefull!

well we can rule out that u didn't trade an Excavalier and/or Excelgor. Did u trade a Haunter, Machoke, Gurrdurr, Kadabra if that that jogs ur memory ?

It all depends on the level of pokemon, and how much xp the pokemon gives you. ex: if you beat a level 100 pokemon, you get LOADS of xp. But, if you do a level 10, you get smaller xp levels.

Yeah, I know. But the pokemon's level I was battling was 67-68. Milotic was gaining over 4.000 exp points every time it defeated a pokemon on that level... It's kinda weird because my brother's pokemon was only gaining 1.000 exp...

What happens to me is that it depends on the pokemon, like if you were battling a level 50 Venusaur compared to battling a level 50 Pidgey, you would gain more exp if you defeat the Venusaur.

This is one way to gain exp points fast. What I'm trying to figure out is why my Milotic was gaining them so fast. Maybe it's about how much your pokemon wants to fight? Is it its ability? Or its nature? lol I think I'm thinking a little too much XD

Was it holding a lucky egg or exp share?

it really depends on the pokemon it depends on evolutions rareness and if its a legendary what type of pokemon (for example water, fire, electric) and legendarys get exp really slow while for example piplup gets it really fast but when piplup evolves into prinplup it gets its exp slower and then when prinplup evolves into the next one (sorry i forgot it) it gets its exp slower, hope this helps

i have been doing reserch about this, see feebas, and milotic have exp of 600,000 at level 100, same with swablu, and altaria. they are in the erratic (very fast growing pokemon) group, one of the 6 group of pokemon experience

I have no clue. Feebas evolves with high Beauty, not trading. I done this before.

Traded pokemon gain experience much faster plus a lucky egg would make it even more faster or an exp. share is goodd too.

why ur bro didn't gain much experience is still a mystery to me.

which ever pokemon u traded evolved so that narrows it down to some possibilities, it would be a little helpful if we knew what it was.
