Has anyone heard about any news of Ruby/Sapphire remakes?

They haven't been annouced yet and there is meant to be some more ds games and some support for the 3ds out this year. So either late this year or sometime next year.

What ?! They are going to make it ? Seriously ? Why didn't they make it before Black and White ?
