Either could win but infernape has the type advantage. It still all depends on the level and stats on the pokemon. If you train infernape well it will win. But electrive still has a 50/50 chance so either would win. I think infernape would be victorius but it always relies on the factors of defense, attack and level.

An electivire with Earthquake and a Expert Belt beats Infernape. There is multiple different strategies for both teams, it would all depend on the trainer and luck

Nice, Infernape has enough speed to do so though, such as Infernape with Focus Sash to withstand one Earthquake to set up a Nasty Plot, then Blast Burn the next turn.

I've seen Electivire survive that, mine once, if he does he justs attacks or uses mach punch before blast burn starts
