Is this true about Pokerus?

Okay 18 of my Pokemon have Pokerus and my friend says if they reach level 100 they'll die is this true?

Ummm... no, your friend is LYING to you, i've had pokemon with pokerus, it just makes the pokemon level up fast, and it goes away in about a week, it's a good thing and pokemon can't die, if it did die then it wouldn't be from pokerus, oh, and also, are you sure it has pokerus? There should be a little smiley face next to your pokemon's name on its summary.
