Can someone please explain Action Replay?

Usually Action Replay is used to enhance games and give the player an advantage with cheat codes to unlock certain things that are not obtainable in the games, you need certain codes to obtain these things,they're long codes consisting of Numbers and Letters together..well not all are long,action replay has some codes in there when you get it and insert your game in it,but the others your going to have to find yourself,Some things action replay does is:It lets you to walk through walls,capture other trainers Pokemon,you can get all the badges w/o working for them :/,you can change your players name w/o starting over,you can have a certain number of master balls..and things like that,I mean I've had Action Replay..and I didn't really like cheating in the game,but that's me.

and to enter codes in the DS you enter the game cart you want to add a code to into the action replay. Click on the star like icon. At the top of the list of codes that you already have, it should say add new code. Enter the name of the code and click next. Then enter the actual code. Click next and activate. then play your game!
