Pokémon Question

How many shiny Pokémon have you ever encountered and/or caught?

For whoever doesn't know what a shiny Pokémon is(I highly doubt that), a shiny Pokémon is a Pokémon that has a different color than other Pokémon of it's kind.

I've caught three of them.
1 in Pokémon Gold,
1 in Pokémon FireRed,
1 in Pokémon Ruby.

there was the Shiny Gyarados in Gold/Crystal/Soul Silver for me and I found a shiny Hoot-Hoot in Gold but I couldn't catch it because It was early in the game and of course I had NO pokeballs at the time so i had to press run..and I never saw it again..I guess Shiny Pokemon aren't My Specialty
