Poetry Question

It's a little different and takes some interpretation.. I hope someone understands :O

A socialpath rides
through the wind
at dawn
without a helmet on,
seeking for
the wisdom in which
plays upon
his brain made
of stone.
Acting out on
its own
a convict
on a loan,
setting out for
the lights of a city,
leaving behind the
old Wayward Land.

I like it. I interpreted it as a poem about searching for something- am I right in any way at all?

What I got out of it was a person leaving a restricted lifestyle or even family life. A life that is a prison for the mind, where the mind has to be in a box and weighed down. This person is moving to a more complex and diverse environment. To be more open and be themselves. Finally opening up their thoughts and ideas of how they see the world. I maybe wrong though.
