(Percy POV)
Michael got up and we all walked out of the throne room together. There was no more that we had to do here.
We got to the bottom of the sloped hallway, and saw Jillian's corpse. Michael sobbed. He knelt by here again, and removed a necklace from her, and put it in his pocket. He than reached inside a leather sac that was attached to her belt and pulled out four small bottles of golden liquid. He handed them to us with a sob. We knew what to do.
Once we got back to the Suburbs, with Jillian we went to her house in silence. It was night time so there was no people to ask questions about what happened.
Once we got to Jillian's house Michael put her on the ground and kissed her on the on the cheek before growing vines and flowers over her body. There were plenty of flowers that could be seen around her house like orchids, and roses. But there was a huge moonlace flower right over her heart and it was in full bloom.
Is there anyone who wants to say a few words, before we..." Michael said, but cut off before he said burn. Clarisse raised her hand first. She stepped forward and Michael stepped to the side. "Jillian was... a very fine girl. More great... than many could hope to be. She put her friends and family before herself and that's why I'm still alive. And I'll give her this." Clarisse finished while putting a ruby bracelet next to the moonlace. She stepped back starting to sniffle.
Annabeth stepped forward. "Jillian was... great friend," Annabeth sniffed, "She gave me some good help on powers I never knew I had and," she started crying, "She'll never leave my heart." Annabeth finished and stepped back.
It was my turn I guess. I stepped forward. "Jillian was, a good friend. She knew just what to say to make things better, even if the situation was almost hopeless. She got us through a lot of dangers and saved someone's life even though it killed her in the process." There wasn't a lot I could say anymore. I grew a daffodil next to the moonlace, but it totally drained me of energy.
Michael stepped forward with a candle, hat he probably got from Jillian's house. "She was a helpful person, and great sister. She stood by us all through hard times and she won't be forgotten." Michael said between sobs. He put the flame where Jillian's foot would've been and the plants slowly burned. We stepped back as the fire grew. It was so bright some people came in their pajamas. They saw that Jillian was gone and looked at the fire with tears in their eyes and sadness on their face.
The fire burned out and there was only ash. The ash was blown away by a wind. It was carried until we couldn't see anymore. Michael sat on a nearby chair with silent tears going down down his face. Me Annabeth walked into Jillian's house and Clarisse walked home.
"I wonder how Michael's doing?" Annabeth said as we sat on Jillian's couch. "I'm sure he's sad. He's lost all of his family. But did you see his eyes when he was about to kill Cetus? They were green. Didn't they used to be dark blue?" I asked.
"Yeah, they used to be blue." Annabeth said, "I wonder what happened." She continued.
"Me neither." I replied. We sat there thinking.
(Michael POV)
I couldn't believe she was gone But there I was. I had just burned her death shroud, and watched her ashes fly away. I wiped the tears from my eyes and thought back to something Percy said before my neck got gashed. "Your eyes, there green!" Percy said. I wondered how that happened. But then again no one said being a forbidden child of one of the Big Three was going to be easy. I went for a walk to clear my mind but not before giving Jillian's house one last gift. I walked to the flower patch I brought Percy too and sat in the tall grass. I layed down and picked a pretty flower. It was one of the flowers that transported you to the mermaid cave. I wondered what would happen if I went there. But sleepiness was a stronger pull on me than curiosity. I laid down in the long grass and fell asleep.
My dream was Jillian before the judges of the dead and her gaining access to Elysia. I was happy for her, and she was thrilled. I than zoomed out of Hades and went to Poseidon's palace. It was a lot cleaner than Cetus's. I stood before dad and I realized I was actually there in person. Dad was sitting on a massive throne made of coral and shells, with a morphing crown. I immediately bowed. I could hear footsteps coming toward's me and I could see dad was in front of me motioning for a hug. I stood up and gave a tight bear hug. He hugged in return, we were the same height. "You've done well, my son." Poseidon said, with a voice that belonged to a sailor not a god. But I didn't want to pester him with questions. "You should've seen the council of gods. We were watching you fight Cetus like it was the Super Bowl. As well as all of Olympus." He said with pride. I just smiled. We walked to a window. "Ares is exspecially proud of you. Since you saved Clarisse, but took a heavy toll for it." He stopped the danger of tears returned to my eyes. Poseidon smiled. "Don't be sad. She did an honorable thing. You saw her, she made Elysia. And on the path your going you'll see her again." He continued with a smile, "But you need to be getting some sleep." Poseidon said. He snapped his fingers and I woke up in the field I fell asleep in. I smiled from ear-to-ear knowing I had made my dad proud. And I fell back asleep, after trying to whistle with some grass. I failed miserably.
