Michael Yew starred at me in complete shock. I mean, I couldn't blame him; the new girl at camp, the daughter of his fathers twin, had just beat him. I stood proudly at the top of the range. People soon got bored and left, leaving me, with Lauren and this other girl.
I figured this girl was just standing there, in complete shock. As soon as I turned around, I heard silent footsteps behind me. I thought she was just going beck to her lane, but instead, she stood behind me and watched as I got bullseye after bullseye.
After a few minutes, I was sure she had left along with Lauren, but as soon as I turned around, she was standing there.
"Can I help you?" I asked out of extreme curiosity.
"Oh, um no. I was just watching. Please continue." she said. This was the first time I had got a good look at her. She had blonde hair and grey eyes. I thought to myself that I had seen other kids around camp that looked very similar, including Annabeth.
I continued shooting, but I had that naging feeling that she was still watching me.
I turned around, and she wasn't there. Hm I thought to myself, she seemed nice, but I didn't get to talk to her.
"Artemisia!"
I turned once again, to find Chiron trotting towards me.
"You need to come with me," he said, making this matter sound very serious.
I obeyed his orders, but silently so hopefully none of the other archers would see me, yet all of their eyes seemed to be glued on me.
I let Chiron lead me out of the range. He lead me up to the Big House. On the porch, was Annabeth and a kid that was starring dreamily at her. I rolled my eyes. Why do boys have to be so, so, irritating? As soon as Annabeth looked up from the paper in front of them, the boy would snap out of it and say something like "yeah, hm OK" like he got what Annabeth had just said but I knew he didn't.
Chiron lead me inside.
"Go upstairs, and you'll know what to do," he said in a very stern voice.
OK, this was just getting weirder by the moment. I looked around the room I was in. There was a fire place with a roaring fire. It basically reminded me of a stereo-typical log cabin. There were a few chairs, sitting by the fire. The fire place looked like it was at least 200 years old. I was wondering how the house didn't have structural damage, when Chiron gave me a little nudge. He guided me towards a drop-down ladder that lead up into a dusty old attic. I placed one hand over the other, forcing myself to touch the disgusting dustiness.
As I poked my head up through the hole, I saw what any attic would look like. Dusty old things that looked old and boring. I brought my legs up through the hole, trying not to catch things on my shoes.
There were things in jars, like pickles. Why would anyone have pickles in an attic? I moved closer to the jars. I was able to slap my hand over my mouth before the scream got out. To my horror they weren't pickles; but brains, and fetus'. I stepped back, and ran into a table. I turned around and saw the horn of something. Next to it, was a pink scarf that had a note card on top of it. It read nudof yb hentnbaa haecs nda yecrp ncjkosa. But, because of my dyslexia, that's what it read for me. I reached for it, but then once again muffled my scream, there was a half-dead thing sitting in the corner on a stool. It had a band around it's head like it was a hippie. She had a floor length skirt on and a tie-dye shirt. Before I really was able to process the scene, the thing opened its mouth and green smoke poured out of its mouth. You'll follow the footsteps and run in the woods
You'll defy civilisation and hunt what no mortal could
I was too shocked to even process it. I started backwards, and as soon as the thing shut its mouth, I made a run for it. I knocked over tables and jars of pickled things, but I just kept running. I got to the whole and climbed down the ladder as fast a my 11 year old body would let me. Chiron was waiting at the base of the ladder. I didn't care, I just ran past him and out the door. Past the lovie dovie kid sitting with Annabeth, and right to my cabin. I flopped on my bead.
What was that?
Thanks, AnnabethKatara for the 'pickled' idea! I would like to thank HecateA for the fabulous prophecy. I did not come up with it, she did. Comment if you love it!

I ran home crying. I hated him more now than I ever had or ever will. I mean seriously a girl can't make an indoor blizzard in peace any more. My name is Ashley. Ashley Thorn.
I was outside, hiding behind the football scoreboard as usual when kyle Johnson saw me make a minature blizzard on the tip of my finger. Right then I got exspelled again.
To be continued........................
I have a book that I'm planning to come out in the summer called 'In office '( nothing to do with PJTO ) And another one that I want come out in the next fall called ' Cold ' I have a feeling they will be good comment and read the books.
Thanks! Sincerely,
daughter of Aphrodite.

*We walk over to D and Chiron* Percy: Kania had her first dream. Tell them girl. *I tell them* Chiron: Alright. Go up into the Big House attic, and wait for a girl. Ask her for a quest, and once you've heard it, come back to me and tell me what she said. *pushes me into the attic* *I sit on a old stool and wait* A girl walks in and waits. Me: Dear Oracle, tell me a quest. Girl(in voice of Oracle):
You shall go to the Underworld,
With 3 friends by you,
Find the betrayer who kills a sib of yours,
Return the heart to its owner,
You will lose something you love,
And return to camp safely.
