Percy Jackson & The Olympians Books Question

Do you think that the stories or any other information that appeared in the Demigod Files will have any effect on The Last Olympian ?

For example, the sword of Hades, do you think he will use that in battle ? Or will the Bronze Dragon be defending camp ?

I was just a little confused. Is the Demigod Files considered one of the books? Well obviously not, but will any of the adventures they went on in DF be referred to? Or is it just like random side stories that we'll pretend didn't happen when we read TLO?

Opinions please :)

I do think they have meaning. I have a feeling Hades might use that sword in battle, and yes, maybe the Bronze Dragon will guard the camp. But mostly I feel that they are important because they mention Nico's plan.

I think the stories are important. The Bronze Dragon I don't think will be important, since that was just a strategy used by Annabeth and Silena in Capture the Flag. The Sword of Hades will probably be important, since it's so powerful. Maybe the birds that guard Ares's temple will be in it, but I doubt it.

Think of The Demigod Files as book 4 1/2, or like Beedle the Bard in the Harry Potter series.

obviously everybody knows this if they read the 2nd series but I'm still answering. What happened in "The Sword of Hades" will be mentioned in "The House of Hades" and what happens in "The Bronze Dragon" will be mentioned in "The Lost Hero".
