The prologue to this is actually called the ultimate fanfiction, or something like that, but I've changed it's title becuase I saw other fanfictions and I didn't want to offend anyone by sugesting my stories are superier- which they probably are now. Anyway, here's chapter 1.
Ch.1 clues
I stayed with the three remaining penguins that night. Skipper had decided we would search for clues the next morning, with our minds cleared from sleep. Sleep was exactly what I couldn't do though. With my morphing into a penguin, and Kowalski's dissapearance, who knew what would happen next.
I woke up the next morning to the smell of fish and coffee, and my back aching from the slits in the stone wall they considered beds.
Skipper was already awake, with his morning coffee. Private was going through the fridge in search of a juice box while Rico was preparing to make sushi. I hopped out of the bed and onto the ground.
"You're finally awake," Skipper said, "I was getting ready to wake you myself. We have to search for clues of Kowalski's dissapearance before the zoo opens."
I yawned, "The best place to start is his lab, I guess." I turned to the door of the lab and stepped foreward.
"Woah" Skipper called behind me, "Arn't you going to wait for Rico to make the sushi first?"
I looked over as Rico began chopping up the raw fish.
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day," Skipper continued.
Even though I was technically a penguin now, the sound of raw fish still discusted me.
"I'm not really that hungry," I said before opening the door.
They had been right the night before. When I looked inside I could easily tell that most of the technology had vanished, even though I had never seen the place in person-... penguin. Whatever was left was in a mess, which I couldn't imagine Kowalski leaving it that way on purpose.
"Was Kowalski acting strangly before he dissapeared?"I called to the other three as I started going through his stuff.
"Not that I could tell," Skipper replied.
"I didn't notice anything either," came Private's accent.
"Uh-uh" Rico grunted.
"Okay..." I said to myself, my thoughts tumbling in my head, "Well, did he have any enemies? Anyone that didn't like him and wanted to hurt him somehow?"
"Only a snail," Skipper said, trying not to laugh, "But that was quite a while ago," the note in his voice was serious again, "I doubt it was the snail."
"What about an enemy to someone else in your team, who knew about all four of you and possably some of your weaknesses?"
The earth suddenly started to shake, and a loud rumble blocked out any possable answers. It was over in a second, but by then I had lost my balence and had fallen on the floor.
"What was that?!" Skipper exclaimed angrily.
"It sounded like an explotion!" Private said.

TDH: this is a remake to the movie with the same title. The character's personalities may be somewhat altered to fit the characters from the movie. Please read and review. Rated T for sexuality and some language.
Narrator: This is a story of Boy meets Girl.
The boy, Kowalski, grew up thinking he'd never truly be happy until the day he met The One. This belief stands from early exposure to Skipper's hard training and being cooped up in his lab making recipes for disaster.
The girl, Summer, did not share this belief. Since the separation from her family, she only loved two things. The first was her long feathery hair. The second was how easily she could cut it off, and feel nothing.
Kowalski meets Summer on January 8th. He knows almost immediately, she is who he's been searching for.
This is a story of Boy meets Girl, but you should know upfront, this is not a love story.
