Did Lucas own Tric?

Lucas doesn't actually own TRIC, Karen owns it & used to run it in partnership with Deb.

In later seasons, when Karen isn't around, its implied that she still owns it & Lucas just checks in on the place. There was loft like area attached to the club, which gets offered rent-free to Peyton as office space for her new label. Peyton later adds a recording studio, with Lucas' permission, who in turn says he'll run the idea past Karen.

I guess Karen would have just handed over day-to-day running of TRIC to someone else, with her & Lucas possibly having say on the running if TRIC.

Besides, it would be too much to expect Lucas to have run TRIC, along with being an author AND the Ravens coach :)

I'm pretty sure he did although in one of the episodes he says to Peyton that he checked with Karen that she could use the other office space. So I think she owned it but Lucas ran and looked after it. Hope that answers your question! :)

lucas owned tric and then he gave it to peyton to use as her recording studio. it didnt really show who was running it though.
