One Tree Hill will start in September 14th and there will be 23 episodes and it will be set 1 year into the future from the season 6 finale, since Lucas and Peyton left Tree Hill this season will include three new characters portrayed by Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten, and Jana Kramer. Buckley is featured as Clayton, Nathan's agent and friend. VanSanten is featured as Haley's free spirited sister Quinn James, who comes back to Tree Hill to mend her broken heart. Kramer is featured as Alexis, a model for Brooke fashion line, "Clothes Over Bros".
Returning are both Austin Nichols who plays Julian Baker a character introduced in the fifth season, and Danneel Harris who had previously portrayed Rachel Gatina, who was absent from sixth season after playing in third, fourth and fifth season. Nichols has been promoted to a series regular while Harris will be recurring for a seven episode arc, starting with the second episode of the seventh season.
Lucas and Peyton will not be returning,however they may appear in the season finale, but it hasnt actually been confirmed.
