Sophia Bush said on her twitter that she doesn't think that they are coming back for Season 8 but fans are still hopeful that there is time for them to come back for at least one episode so fingers crossed!
Apparently the Leyton characters have moved to New Zealand with Sawyer to stay with Karen & Andy. This again is according to Sophia Bush on twitter.
Hilarie and Chad are currently starring in new tv shows I think. Hope I helped!
I don't think that Lucas and Peyton will ever come back to Tree Hill because at the moment they just don't fit into the storyline with the rest of the characters however i do think they may return for Brooke and Julian's wedding with their baby girl Sawyer Scott (Cute name). I want Lucas and peyton to come back as a regular basis yet i guess that guest appearances are good too.
And what do i think they're doing now, well i just think that they're rising their baby to the best of their ability and being very much in love with each other, they are so much in love it doesn't matter where they are they will always have each other.
Even though Lucas and Peyton aren't in One Tree Hill they will always be in the memories and thoughts of it's viewers and be mentions in the lines of the show by their fellow 'Classmates'.
