Well it's a bit complicated in season 1 Lucas met Peyton and liked her but in the end Brooke goes for him and they become a couple (Brucas) then shortly Brooke caughts them cheating (Lucas and Peyton) and fights with Peyton and Lucas of course , but Peyton and Lucas don't become a couple in season 1.In season 3 Brooke and Lucas start dating again and Peyton and Lucas cheat again and in the end in season 4 they become the couple many love (Leyton).
