Will someone help me?

I'm new to writing One Direction fanfictions,and was wondering if you could answer my questions.

1.Can I put myself and/or my friends in the story?
2.If I decide to,can I add a 6th band member?

Sorry..I meant MY friends..in real life ya know. Plus not me nor my friends will be dating them,though we want to,we're way to young.
