do u think the scenes where cora is seen tearing up is more barbara or cora?

i've noticed that in some scenes cora is seen tearing up and i kinda got confused cause wouldnt someone literally without a heart not have the ability to get emotional? so it made me wonder if it was possibly barbara hershey kinda getting out of character and tearing up or if it was actually cora tearing up.
