Once Upon A Time Question

what do you think of this theory on whale's counterpart?

i'm thinking that since its pretty clear his counterpart is some kind of scientist which doesnt make a lot of sense to me since electricity wasnt around in fairytale land unless it was actually magic. i think towards the end, whale's counterpart is the victim of an experiment gone wrong and he accidently is turned into the whale from pinnocho. either that or he's turned into the whale by punishment. i hope this is a good theory

He is Dr.Frankenstein and Daniel is his monster. I don't think whale has really anything to do with his fairytale counterpart, more the Dr. part

well that doesnt mean he still cant be the whale from pinnocho. like i said, he could still be dr frankenstein but what if he's the victim of an experiement gone wrong and he's turned into a whale or maybe he was cursed and turned into one.
