Providing the ratings stay high hopefully not also Mark Harmon is now the series producer the same thing happend in CSI with William Petersen as a way to sweeten the pot & keep him with the series. Providing they get good storylines & the characters fit be they current or new cast members then there is no reaso the series should not last until at least season 10 & beyond.

I certainly hope not! It's a great tv show, one I totally love. I assume if the fan base stays behind the show then another season will follow. =]

Update: They have officially renewed NCIS for an 8th Season. =]

It better not be! My friends and I have a fan club and we all have little ID tags from ebay and if NCIS ends after this season we will all die of depression!!!

As of season 7, NCIS is the #1 watched show on TV. While it has not been renewed officially, it would be unreasonable for CBS to cancel it at this time.

I hope not, The show get up to about 18 or 19 million viewers per episode this season. It's still in the top 10 or 20 which is a feat all in itself. I would die with out NCIS!
