Well.....Jenny was assigned as a "Probie" under Gibbs. Then they went on a secret mission in Paris, where they fell in love. Then Jenny was given the oppurtunity to head a special team that would put her on he fast track to director. She made the mistake of choosing her job over Gibbs. Then eight years later she became the director and Gibbs's boss.
