how long does it take to have a medal?

In the past when i was a young fanpopper user it took me a year to get a green medal in this spot alone but now it doesnt take nearly as long i see newer people get them rather quickly but really it just depends. The system just depends on how highly your content is rated although i will admit i have seen some changes in it but the F4 like to keep it secret how they do it so if they made any chagnes i wouldnt know.
