Is Naruto always so annoying?

He definitely grows up! At first he is alitte annoying but you just started watching it. Just wait till you get to Naruto Shippuden! :D

You get used to it. And he does grow up.
I thought the exact same as you; I thought he was the most obnoxious character ever and who would create (or watch) a show about this kid? I kept watching, he's my favorite character now :)
The show also later starts to take focus on other characters, so if you end up not liking Naruto too much, it's nbd b/c there are other great and interesting characters.

to me he stays like that through out the series but in shippuden he's matures a little. but that personality makes him really funny and i like it.

Naruto is annoying most times but thre are times he is serious, like when a friend is kidnapped and esspecially during shippuden.

He definitely grows up a lot. you just gotta understand that he's been through a lot and that he acts out so people will "acknowledge" him. keep watching and you'll see he grows up a lot. especially in shippuden.

Haha, I hated him for that at the beginning, too. XD He was arrogant, useless, stupid, and he thought he was a lot better than he was. But I can assure you that he grows up a great deal after *SPOILER!* Sasuke left the village *SPOILER!*.
Especially during the timeskip (3 years, right after Naruto ended and before Shippuden began).
He's still a little dumb, but he's a strong ninja, and his heart's truly in the right place, so I love him, and the village loves him, and Sasuke probably loves him too but he's to much of a bastard to see it atm. ♥

He's a tween boy. What do you expect? He definately becomes less annoying as he gets older. I think that's part of what I love so much about the story is seeing how he matures and goes from boy to man. I went back recently and rewatched the first few episodes and was amazed at how useless, hot-headed, and, well, annoying little 12-year-old Naruto was. And Sakura too. She grows up as well and becomes much less useless and squeaky-fangirl.

he does after awhile, but i like his arrogance the best. hes so cute, and i thnk he should have stayed that way! keep up the watching, though. it's the best anime ever!

He matured a little until Boruto. He's much more mature then.
