Naruto Question

In Naruto Shippuden, what is shikamaru's rank? And what episode/chapter in the manga proves this?

There have been many arguments saying that he is still chunin but I could have sworn that in one of the shippuden episodes, it mentions he is a jonin.

I am pretty sure he is still a chunin becuase when someone was mentioning to naruto that everyone was a chunin they said that "temari and kankuro are even jonin now" and they never mentioned shikamaru's rank.

Shikamaru is still a chunin. In one of the episodes in the beginning when Naruto comes back from his training they show Tamari and Shikamaru talking. When he escorts her she tells him that he should stop being lazy and should work to become a jounin.
