The auto-tuned part starts about 2 minutes in.
(Make sure you listen to some of the song before the auto tune starts as well so you can get the full effect)

And yes, I approve of autotune in Stars because it's used as an effect rather than hiding a horrible voice.

Lol, when I start getting into something, it's all I think about for a while.

I think the auto-tune was an artistic decision rather than just something extra to jazz it up, or like said above, to fix his voice.
Nate's voice doesn't need fixing at all.
