	jussmile247 picked Any decade of music (60's-90's) except for today's: Today's music to me is a peice of crap. I am embarrassed by our generation. Today's music is a disgrace compared to music of the 70's, 80's, and 90's. The people can't sing well. There's no talent. And the music just gets you to dance, there's no feeling, or soul in it anymore. I think it all went wrong in the late 90's. We need real music back. posted over a year ago.

	fanfly picked 60's & 70's: I really gravitate towards 70s rock [CCR, Jackson Browne, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rolling Stones, Doobie Brothers etc etc]. My second choice would be the 90s [Pearl Jam, Garbage, Nirvana, Radiohead, Soul Asylum, Poe, etc etc]. But I love music from all of these decades. @jussmile247, you're just not digging deep enough into the modern music scene. There are plenty of artists out there who aren't trying to make anyone dance. [Modest Mouse, Mumford & Sons, Bayside, Amanda Palmer, Death Cab for Cutie, Arcade Fire, Florence & the Machine, Placebo etc etc]. posted over a year ago.

	cassie-1-2-3 picked 80's: Though my absolute favorite band is from the 00's, I love the 80's. They're actually inspired by 80's bands, so I guess that makes sense. I would agree with the state of today's music being low rate if I only listened to the ultra-pop radio music, but I like to venture a but further. There is a lot of great stuff out there right now. But I totally agree with the first comment, today's music has no soul, the lyrics are annoying, and most of the singers and bands are just influenced by the past. According to my mother, music was good until the mid 90's, I think most of today's music has too much Dubstep, Auto-tune and techno.
