I have two different versions of the soundtrack to "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown". One is by the '99 Broadway cast, and that seems pretty common. But the other is by the original Broadway cast, and apparently my mum went to a great deal of trouble to look for it and got a shop to order it in special just to give me as a Christmas present one year! This was before we had Broadband, so we couldn't just find stuff online.
The ironic thing is, years after that Christmas when I found the '99 cast album, it turned out to be better quality than the original. :P But I can appreciate it because my mum (and some poor high street shop assistant) put in a lot of effort to find the original recording.
I also have a "Tribute to Walt Disney" album of instrumental versions of Disney songs. My dad used to work in a second hand shop, and finally bought this album after it had been gathering dust in the shop for some time. It was only when I copied the CD onto my computer and was trying to find its album artwork online that I realised the album itself was hardly heard of! I did find some album artwork eventually for a CD with a similar title, but it was nothing like the real life album artwork my version has! So I'm getting the impression that CD is a rarity too.
I do have one more rare album, which is a vinyl with a few tracks from a computer game on it, and the cover is signed by all the game's developers. It was a gift for backing a kickstarter some time ago. The funny thing is that I have never even owned a record player so I'll probably never get to listen to it, but I like it anyway just for the autographs on the cover. :)

@glelsey That's awesome, it was nice of your mom to go do that for you. And secondhand stores are actually where i got a few of my rare ones as well.
