I don't care for reggae, can't name a song that I like. Does I Shot the Sheriff by Eric Clapton count? lol
But I think, other than that, there's at least one artist or a few songs from every genre that I like. Honestly, I don't pay too much attention to what genre the music I listen to falls in.

Nope. I don't. There are tons of Genres I don't really like, and even in the ones I do like, it's not like I like every artist.

I used to say I like all kinds of music.

I mean, I'm usually not too picky about what I listen to. I noticed that I'm most attracted to the songs I hear, rather than the specific artist or band or singer who created the song. Like, for example; I'm not a big Smashing Pumpkins fan, but I [b]love[b] their song, "Bodies" nearly endlessly; it's more than likely as of now one of my current Top Ten songs by them =)

The songs could be rock, heavy metal, metal, reggae, rap, pop, electronica or even opera. If I like it or it attracts my soul, pulls me in, or draws me towards the singer/band...if it appeals to me in any way, I'd like it. :)

I like and can enjoy listening to all kinds of genre like the list I provided above, although I do find almost all types of rock highly preferrable for myself.

It overall do not have a fixed taste; I'd listen to anything. So I love all kinds of music...at least I thought so.

Because I made the brief yet strong revelation;
I absoulely HATE country. It tortures my ears and my brain cells. o_O
Don't know why, it just does. I can't even stand listening to it on the radio when I'm in someone else's car, I try to zone out and block it to the best of my advantage & ability.


So, yeah. I almost congratulated to being able to say I love all types of music, but can't because of goddamned country. xD

And, I guess the point of my posting this is the fact that I see or hear a lot of people go, "Oh, I love all kinds of music!" with a full composition of confidence, but some parts of me would really wanna bet a fortune that there's at least one genre they can't stand. xD

I dislike rap and black metal.

I can appreciate all genres as a whole. I honestly cannot think of a single genre where I despise every single song that contributes to it. It just seems unrealistic that it's even possible for people.

I think I can say that I listen to all genres. I don't like most hip hop songs, but there are a couple of songs I really like to listen to.

I especially like country, R&B, Dance, Latin & Alternative Rock but generally I listen to all kinds of music, from classic to metal.

I like all but rap, I like rock, all decades, country, classical, even the teen singers, maybe because of having a teen daughter but I like Justin Beiber & Hannah Montana aka Miley Cyrus even, of course since she's quit the show, I don't like her as much but I have about 2,000 songs & they are of all genres except rap, I especially like big band & swing & jazz too.

I hate all music from the 2000's. You're not gonna remember Nikki Minaj in 50 years like you will The Beatles.

I listen to mostly anything, don't usually care about the genre, but I would honestly rather listen to 3 cats being dragged up the empire state building than listen to metal or rap.

I like from rock to death metal.

One of my favorite artists, Rob Zombie's music sorta has a countryish flavor, I guess you can say. I usually don't prefer country over rock at all..

Except rap, new pop, and some knew country. I don't listen to reggae, not because I hate it, I just never got into it.

I like a number of songs from each genre. From pop to atmospheric doom metal. I'll usually dislike a handful of songs from a few genres, but typically I like them all.

I don't listen to anything from the country genre. That is the only one that comes to mind.

Hm, not really. I used to say that though I've certainly developed more of a taste over the years. That being said, there are still songs I like from genres I'm not particularly partial towards.
