Do Oldies count as a genre? If so, then that'll be mine, because oldies come in all sorts of different categories. I also like some soundtrack music and game music as well.
my genre's of music are mostly alternative, rock, classical, indie and jazz.
I specifically hate top 40 stuff from the US. It all sounds the same to me. But that's just me, no means of offensiveness.
I've got my own little world of music.
rock. screamo. grindcore. speed metal. classical. not ashamed to listen to any of them seeing as though we wouldn't have current music without old school classical music. Bach for the win.
It's probably classic rock, bands like Styx, CCR, Kansas, Journey, Bon Jovi, and some heavier ones like AC/DC and Ratt. I also like rock, prog, heavy metal, faster country songs, and almost anything else except rap and screamo.
Well, I have so many it's impossible to pick just one.
1. Indie (She & Him, Camera Obscura, Regina Spektor, and Belle and Sebastian, The Postal Service, Lily Allen, etc.)
2. '77 Punk (The Clash, The Ramones)
3. Classical (Phillip Glass)
4. Musicals (Rocky Horror and The Drowsy Chaperone)
5. Glee (Esp. The Warblers)
6.
Rock, metal, punk, occassionally screamo, as long as the whole song isn't screamo (the only exception is Arch Enemy, where I can tell what she is screaming :P)

Arch Enemy isn't screamo, it's melodic death metal :P
