The Last Airbender.

As someone who enjoyed the original TV series, I honestly don't get why this film is considered the worst film ever made.

I missed that one but was so hyped to see it. There was this BIG controversy about the ethnicity of the actors. Something like that...right??? I still plan to see it... I like M. Night. Thanks for commenting. :)

Worst film ever made?! Where did you read that? I didn't like it as well, true that, but there are so many worse movies out there.

I read that off of Wikipedia. I know that Wikipedia isn't the most reliable source out there, but it's good as a quick reference for something. Either someone edited the article, or my brain isn't working properly.

The original TRON, from 1982. It's so sad that it got so little recognition. And there are actually people who enjoyed TRON: Legacy, and didn't even knew it was a sequel to this great movie.

I see quite a few M Night Shyalaman movies listed so I'm going to nominate yet another one that most people did not care for. This one had such a unique story with fine performances all around as well as a hauntingly beautiful score.

Master and Commander: the Far Side of the World
The reconstruction in details of life on a ship is impressive (in fact, the movie is rich and accurate in historical details), and you can really get a feeling of the world changing, on the brink of Industrial Revolution. The supporting cast is great and Russell Crowe gives a great performance.

And if I could add another one, it would be The Painted Veil, which I believe is more or less unknown. Edward Norton fought for years to make this adaptation and it payed off. Good acting, good soundtrack, good editing, beautiful art direction and yet, nobody cares much about it...
