Movies Question

Did anyone see Ella Enchanted

Not to be mistaken with the one with Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey(that one was awesome). This one is about young girl who has this obedient curse and sets out on some journey to remove it and she falls in love with this hunky prince named Char. I thought it was ok not the best film in the world but parts of it I liked and the rest was just stupid.

The movie was not so bad. It was ok. Is it like a Cinderella story, having step mother and sisters, 12 o'clock or something like that?

Personally I didn't enjoy it because I read the book by Gail Carson Levine and the movie missed so many amazing scenes and characters. But I know people who haven't read the book and love the movie so sorry I guess I'm not much help but I suggest you read the book you'll love the character Char :)

I like this spin on the fairy tale, it was fresh and original. I often watch Cinderella stories to find out what her reasons are for putting up with such a cruel step-faimly. Although my favorite version is "Ever After," "Ella Enchanted" comes in second.

I find Anne Hathaway's performance very fitting to the role and the Dancy as the Prince is, well, charming! I also like to light political agenda in the film. The humor was well done, also. Might I add, The elf was my favorite part?!
