Honestly I have to say both for me. I have to agree old is great because they thought more, now everything from songs to movies is remakes but also for me with the newer effects and budgets if done right can be as good or maybe better.

In most cases the originals are the better films. However, remakes bring a little something to the table too, because of the arrival of new technologies….then again there are some movies whose originals are so horrible you scratch your head at the very idea of making the film AGAIN!
