A current claim from Michael Jackson’s Wikipedia entry: “In 1989, after his brothers recorded and released the smash hit album 2300 Jackson Street without him, Jackson felt the urge to return to a band setting. He briefly joined BOSTON: unfortunately contractual issues and his inability to adjust to BOSTON bandleader Tom Scholz’s personal quirks caused Jackson to leave the band after just a few months to return to a solo career. His success resulted in his being dubbed the ‘King of Pop,’ a nickname conceived by Scholz.” I am 99.999999% sure that none of this is true, but I swear to God it is there right now, and will probably be regurgitated as gospel truth by some well-meaning writer looking to pad their 2,457th Jackson-related story of recent weeks with something vaguely “different” within the next, oh, 24 hours or so. A screenshot after the jump!
In a shocking revelation that has shocked the shocked world of show business, already reeling from shock, it was revealed today that Michael Jackson is not dead after all.
A jubilant Michael Jackson returned to the world's stage to thank everyone for buying his albums and securing him every slot in the top 100.
He said that he needed the money, and the best way to do it was to fake his own death so that he could sell shed loads of albums. This, he felt, was far more ethical than either to go into hiding and get his family to claim death insurance or to bankrupt a bank and live off a £700,000 pension for the remainder of his life.
To celebrate, he put on a special concert at the arena in his NeverNeverLand home featuring a 3-hour set of some of his most famous songs.
Sadly, however, during one of his moonwalk routines, he backed into a stack of amplifiers at the corner of the stage that collapsed on him, killing him instantly.

Did I leave your mind when I was gone
It's not my thing trying to get back
But this time let me tell you where I'm at
You don't have to worry 'cause I'm coming
Back to where I should have always stayed
And now I've heard the maybe to your story
And it's enough love for me to stay
Can it be I stayed away too long
Did I leave your mind when I was gone
It's not my thing trying to get back
But this time let me tell you where I'm at
[Chorus:]
I wanna be where you are
Anywhere you are
I wanna be where you are
Everywhere you are
Please don't close door to our future
There's so many things we haven't tried
I could love you better than I use to
And give you all the love I have inside
[Chorus:]
I wanna be where you are
Anywhere you are
I wanna be where you are
Everywhere you are
