he didnt deserve it really but not a lot of choice for answering...

my point is , if she was too nice and flirty with him , it would have been even worse for lancelot cause it would have given him false hopes

she was normal with him , just asking a favor , she would have behaved the same way with the other other knights too.

you cant blame Gwen everytime she talks to lancelot , he isnt a child , its been 4 for years that she is in love with Arthur and only him , so if Lancelot is going to heartbroken everytime she speaks to him , its going to be tiring.

I kinda agree with @nsk. And I would add, Lancelot walked away from Gwen (first) back when he and Arthur rescued her from her kidnapper. (Lancelot and Guinevere episode)

I'm so sorry, but I just can't feel bad for him when is something related to Arwen. But I don´t think that he deserved it.

:O I thought she's going to wish him good luck. That just wasn't nice, no matter what's between her and Arthur and what happened to her and Lancelot in the past, that was still rude and it's not like Gwen

Gwen is not the keeper of Lancelot's heart. He gave up that privilege 2 seasons ago. Cold was leaving Gwen in the woods without a goodbye or coherent explanation. Some things cannot be? Well there you go Lancie, they aren't.

I completely agree with what Zoe said.
I may be heartless here but I actually enjoyed it. Mostly because Arthur is my favorite and he was all she thought about.

Come on..It seems that Gwen can't do anything without people are all "omg, poor Lancelot". Fact is that he left her without an decent explanation - he didn't even bother to say goodbye?? And also one year is supposed to have passed - between the last episode of S3 and the first of S4 - he must by now be accustomed to seeing Gwen and Arthur togehter..
I think Lancelot should pull himself together..

She owes nothing to him. If he thinks that you can just leave someone and then everytime you return expect them to happily accept you back and pretand nothing ever happend, then he's wrong. It's been years and even there haven't been. Arthur is the one she is with.

I'm not saying she was wrong to do it, I'm glad she did it. And she was honest and not leading Lance on. But I think she could have acknowledged how it would effect him and maybe have took that into concideration. Even a simple good luck or even a smile would be enough. I think it was a little mean/blunt.

She went to Lancelot because she trusted him. That's enough in itself. Of all the knights- including her own brother- she chose Lancelot and it shows that she trusts him to fulfill her request. So, no she was not wrong in doing what she did. Yes she was blunt, yes he was expecting something very different. Nonetheless, she had to make that request. She is also very preoccupied and she knows- though Arthur did not upright tell her- that whatever he is doing will put his life at stake. That worried her more than anything so of course she is going to ask someone to bring him back safely.

Did I feel bad for Lance? Yes, I admit that I did to a degree. When his face fell, I did want to give him a pat on the shoulder. As Cara said above me, a smile would have been appropriate. He is, after all, going with Arthur and his life could be put at risk. But, I don't feel that Gwen's words nor bluntness meant that she was being coldhearted towards Lancelot.

Schnusch picked no he deserved it :
He didn't "deserve" it, but I mean it was his choice to serve Arthur in the first place. He knew that she decided for Arthur and lived at the castle that way for one year. He could have gone away anytime but he didn't so he must have accepted it after a while.

He broke her heart first, I hate the double standards in this fandom. So it's ok for him to leave her without so much of a goodbye but it's not ok for Gwen being a little cold towards him? Right, that seems fair.
I do feel sorry for him but I don't get exactly what he expected from her? For her to go "Oh Lance I've been such a fool, It's not actually Arthur i've been in love with for the past 2 years it's you! Let's get married and have loads of babies together". Like seriously Lance get real. She's not going to act all love-y towards Lance just to keep him happy because that'd just be unfair to all 3 of them.
It's quite obvious that the writers only put this scene in to show that Lance still has feeling for Gwen. (Probably for later episodes in the season).

She was way too cold,I felt bad for him but she had to,because there was an old romance between them,so she couldn't be that "warm".
