my point is , if she was too nice and flirty with him , it would have been even worse for lancelot cause it would have given him false hopes
she was normal with him , just asking a favor , she would have behaved the same way with the other other knights too.
you cant blame Gwen everytime she talks to lancelot , he isnt a child , its been 4 for years that she is in love with Arthur and only him , so if Lancelot is going to heartbroken everytime she speaks to him , its going to be tiring.
I may be heartless here but I actually enjoyed it. Mostly because Arthur is my favorite and he was all she thought about.
I think Lancelot should pull himself together..
Did I feel bad for Lance? Yes, I admit that I did to a degree. When his face fell, I did want to give him a pat on the shoulder. As Cara said above me, a smile would have been appropriate. He is, after all, going with Arthur and his life could be put at risk. But, I don't feel that Gwen's words nor bluntness meant that she was being coldhearted towards Lancelot.
I do feel sorry for him but I don't get exactly what he expected from her? For her to go "Oh Lance I've been such a fool, It's not actually Arthur i've been in love with for the past 2 years it's you! Let's get married and have loads of babies together". Like seriously Lance get real. She's not going to act all love-y towards Lance just to keep him happy because that'd just be unfair to all 3 of them.
It's quite obvious that the writers only put this scene in to show that Lance still has feeling for Gwen. (Probably for later episodes in the season).
