Last Scene in Episode Six:
Arthur: Merlin?
(Merlin stops walking and looks at Arthur)
Arthur: I want you to know, that, I never doubted you.
(Merlin looks at Arthur with disbelief)
Arthur: Well maybe I did, but it’s your own fault. You had a suspicious look about you… Shifty
(Through clenched teeth) Like you’ve got something to hide….
Merlin: (smiling) I am an open book.
Arthur: Leave that for a second. However, I do know that without your help, I still have a troll for a stepmother.
(Merlin just nods and smiles)
(Awkward silence with cheesy background music)
Arthur: Well, thanks (lifting his arm towards Merlin)
(Merlin then attempts to wrap his arms around Arthur)
Arthur: Woo, woo, woo….
(Both lift their hands in the air)
Arthur: What are you doing?
Merlin: I thought…. You were going for a hug
Arthur: Noooo…… (shaking head)
(Merlin shakes his head with awkwardness)
Merlin: (quietly) No…..
(Both slowly lower arms, and look at each other strangely)
(Arthur gives Merlin an strange look, before walking off, leaving our Merlin with an amused smile, like that of an excited schoolgirl who had just talked to her crush)
