Does anybody know the Merlin series 3 release date?

It depends where you live. If you live in the UK this is my assumption.

Series 1 started 20 September, 2008
Series 2 started 19 September, 2009

But this is just an assumption, but since each day of a year rotates by 1 day, i would assume that the series 3 of Merlin starts the 18th September 2010 (Which is a Saturday). The show is always broadcast on Saturday, So thats my best guess.

But there might be delays with the filming, production etc. but I would say 18th September 2010. Just a guess! :)

There isn't a offical release date yet as there is no way the producers can prodict when filming will finish and when the effects will finish being added. (Series 2 was first thourght to start 2 week before it actually did).

I do know that it will start again during september 2010. (Lets hope it comes quick!)

My uncle works with the BBC and he gave me a sneak peak and it comes out on the 4th of September OMG i cant wait i love the merlin programs :)

The first episode is going to be shown on 11th September on bbc1

wow,i and my Chinese teacher both love Merlin
and she said Merlin series 3 may probably be released this autumn
and i'm very expected to Merlin 3 :)

I'm still waiting for season 2 (I watched it on utube but it's just not the same)

OMG Can you believe this. A week ago in one of my school lessons the teacher told the whole class to make a chart on one of our favourite TV programms. I made a chart about Merlin. This morning I was looking at the big Notice Board (where the Head puts up monthly notices) and I actually saw my own chart standing there! That is unbelievable!!!

Merlin season 3 will air in Autumn 2010 according to BBC details.

I know that you guys have been saying that the release date is in the early September days but I know that it varies...I'm living in the US in California but I don't know what the release date is or is it all the same? Is the September date for U.K / England only? Please someone answer!!! I will truly grately appreciate it :)

merlin will return in september 2010 the show starts with looking for morgana and there has been a 1 year leap in the show as well as that camelot is in the middle of a war

i have heard a lot of different things, from late december in 2010, to sugust 2010. but since it is already august, i do not believe that to be true! the most reoccuring thing i have heard is september 2010. but, it DOES MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE. in the U.S. Merlin is shown a bit after than in the U.K. so i'm guessing that Merlin will return to the U.S. sometime in either november or december

It was either going to be Sept 11 or 18 but I think its been confirmed as 11 September only in the UK, try Merlins Keep. BFI is on the 5 September, this is where the cast see the screening of episodes 1 & 2 which is a 2 parter. and I think in the US it will be on Syfy 2011 and I think in Australia Channel 10 the same 2011
