I don't really understand what your 'question' is. I suppose it was 'why does anyone like this awful show?'. In answer to that I'd say for starters, because most people don't think it's an 'awful show' to begin with. Every fan will like the show for different reasons, including because of the story, actors, style etc.

And I think your estimation of the talent on the series is hardly justified. The cast of "Merlin" brings out the best on current running television. If you don't like the series fine, but why rant over it on a fan gathering place? Joining a fan club for media you dislike insults your intelligence. Trolling is a nasty habit, it's really better to find more positive pastimes than wasting time posting on the internet about things you dislike.

i agree that the set is low budget, the characters always were the same costumes and yes the plotline is quite predictible. But Merlin is also an enjoyable TV show. It's something that you have to leave your brain behind with and just go along with the show. It's not genius or intellectual but it's enjoyable, fun and entertaining. And in my eyes, that's all it needs to be....


And besides Merlin is WAY WAY WAY better than any rubbish that's on tv at the moment, theres nothing good and .... And waht happened to Doctor who??? WHo tried to make itm (gulp) funny when it clearly isn't???

Merlin is the best show I have ever seen. The costumes are awesome, the actors are awesome, the director is so creative and imaginative, I love the story line, so there is nothing you can say that will convince me otherwise. Go insult another tv show because clearly you have picked the wrong fanbase to insult!!!

If you dont like the show then don't watch it. nobody is forcing you to. just don't spoil it for anybody else. This is a fansite for the show for people how like it so don't waste your time being anti-merlin because we will all think you are a rotten pig.
I admit that sometimes they do somethings a little iffy or not to my taste but remember nobodys perfect. No director or actor can do this show perfectly becuase everybody has their own views on how it should be. But I think they have done a darn good job.
At first, i admit, i was a little doubtious but the show proved me wrong. I like how they have added little twists in the plot (like gwen being a servant, and morganna being good)

How can anyone twist up words like that? Merlin is a brilliant show, and one of the best out there and there isn't many shows I watch. Their costumes suits the character, the vibrant colours of the clothing they wear is what makes the character. there is no need to make petty comments about Merlin in that kind of fashion. Merlin rocks. No need to knock it like that. The storylines are so incredible and my eyes are glued to the t.v. If you have something to say in that way, then its best to keep your lips sealed up tight and leave the ones who enjoy Merlin alone.

For a start, the reason people like this show is because WE have a good taste in TV!!!!!!
I, for example, am interested in the legend, more than like the actors and generally like this sort of thing.
