why is the band called madina lake?

From what I know (heared on the interviews) they just came up with it and know it has a story behinde it that Matthew is writing. After making up the name they campe up to make it something bigger and in their story Madina Lake is this discconected from the world place where the stories and mysteries take place. So simply they just made the name up from what I know :)
