i really like this guy but dont know if he likes me?

i really like this guy that iv know for a long time and all my friend say that he likes me and that i should go for him. the reason they say that is because no matter wat he always finds me in crowds and hes always messin around with me and stuff but idk wat to do

well he just told me that he know that i like him and said no one told him bt he cant date and he sounded sad but i cant tell cuz were txting and well idk wat so do now either

Ask him in person, "do you like me." You don't have to date, just ask if he likes you
