of course not, it's only three years. And it all depends on your and his character. If he likes you as a person, and if he's not too mature for his age and you're not too young for yours, then who knows what'll happen.
It isn't wrong to like him... I just turned 16, and before my birthday I was dating an 18 year old... He was amazing... But my parents didn't approve, so we had to end it... The only thing you need to be careful of is your parents approving. If they don't they have the right to call the cops and he could get in a lot of trouble. You can't help who you fall for, but unfortunatly, your parents still have control over you. Just have fun and be friends with him until you know if your parents are okay with you dating him or not.

Still... even for that, your parents could put him in jail. He's 18, you aren't. there is a lot to consider. I wasn't doing anything with the guy I was dating either... I hardly ever even saw him, but it doesn't matter. If your parents aren't okay with it, they can do what ever they feel is right.
